Tarek A. Chidiac, M.D., F.A.C.P.
Dr. Chidiac is a diplomate of the American Board of Hematology, Medical Oncology & Internal Medicine. After receiving his medical degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Carmel Medical Center and his fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He currently holds a clinical assistant professor of medicine title at The Ohio State University and is a teaching faculty member at the Mount Carmel West Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Chidiac served as director of medical oncology for Mount Carmel West from 2000 to 2007. He currently heads the research program at The Zangmeister Center and chairs the treatment pathway committees. Dr. Chidiac is a principal investigator of multiple Phase II/III trials and author of many peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He is an investigator and member of Columbus Clinical Cancer Oncology Program for SWOG, ECOG, NSABP, RTOG, MDACC, URCC and GOG. Dr. Chidiac is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Community Oncology Alliance, American Medical Association and Ohio State Medical Association.
